 The READY Runners are taking Swim Lessons for 6 Weeks at the Downtown YMCA. PK3/PK4 Lessons every Monday. K5/1st Grades Lessons every Tuesday. 2nd and 3rd Grades Lessons every Wednesday until June 10th . Also READY 3R's SUMMER CAMP will begin Monday,June 29th. 9:00 a.m until 12:00 Noon is filled with Fun and Exciting Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. The afternoons are filled with field trips, swim lessons, and fun games activities....Also the READY STEMA FAIR (Science Technology Engineering Mathematic the Arts) will be held May 11th - May 14th . Monday at 6:00 p.m PK 3 - Tuesday at 6:00p.m PK4 - Wednesday at 6:00p.m K5 - Thursday at 6:00p.m 1st , 2nd , 3rd Grades -----Lot's of Spiritual and Fun Learning are Happening at READY Academy Christian School....We Would Love for Your Family to Join Our READY Academy Family!!!   We're working towards our next Graduation...   We have been unable to effectively update our website for an extended period, due to the passing of our former Webmaster, the late Eddy Scott. Thankfully, he left the digital keys. We continue to miss Bro. Scott every day, but expect great things, as we move forward...

First Baptist of Norfolk
 Old Salt Box Organized in 1800, the church is one of the few black independent congregations to exist during slavery. The church itself and location was acquired in 1830. Old Salt Box was designed by Reuben H.Hunt, who also designed Court Street Baptist, Portsmouth.
