4th Grade Class Resources

Welcome

Reaching Educationally Aspiring Dynamic Youth (READY) is the mission of the First Baptist Church. READY Academy Christian School is committed to providing a Christian foundation and quality education for children. In partnership with families and communities, READY Academy will emphasize specialization in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts (STEMA) to meet the individual, academic needs of each child. The First Baptist Church READY Academy Christian School’s Board of Education, administration, faculty and staff believe God has a purpose for each child and that all children can learn.

If you have the ability to scan/ take a picture please upload to the assignment dropbox located at the bottom of the page. If you choose to upload into the assignment drop box, please put what the assignment is in the comment section. All work submitted via dropbox must be submitted by Friday.

Daily Schedule:
8:30am-9am: Penmanship (Initial Conference Call)
9am-9:30am: Bible
9:30am-10:30am: Reading
10:30-11:30am: Language (Conference Call with Ms. Mills)
11:30am-12:30pm: Math (Second Conference Call)
12:30pm-12:50pm: Spelling
12:50pm-1:30pm: Lunch
1:30pm-2pm Recess
2pm-2:30pm: Science(Third Conference Call)
2:30pm-3pm: History
3pm-3:30pm: Health
3:30pm-4pm: Silent Reading

During the initial conference call I will review the homework given the day before. Then I will start the lessons for the day. Students will be able to ask any questions necessary. Between 10:15 and 10:30 students will finish up any necessary work and join Ms. Mills for Language. I will hold another conference call at 11:30 for Math and Spelling. After lunch and recess I will hold my final conference call, during this one I will also explain any homework for the night.
